Petite Vintage

Let's meet Petite Vintage!

Classic High Tea Dress

We are two sisters Jessie and Rebecca from Waikato, NZ, who have created this vintage inspired children’s clothing store. We are both mothers who are very passionate about dressing our little Miss & Masters in unique clothing.

We both know how difficult it is to find that cute wee outfit that is not only unique but is affordable. We knew we were not alone in our thinking so decided to create and launch Petite Vintage.

Vogue Fedora Hat & Serenity Dress

We stock a range of vintage inspired clothing items including dresses, trousers, hats & coats as well as unique gifts/lovables including handcrafted hobby horses, toadstool stools & magical fairy doors.

Magical Fairy Doors

What a fun journey this has been; from sourcing the clothes and accessories, organising the children's photo shoots and finally receiving such positive feedback from our happy Petite Vintage followers.

The romance of a bygone era is captivated in our Petite Vintage Collection.

Some of our ranges can be made to order in specific colours, sizes etc, so please don't hesitate to email us, we will help any way we can.

Mayhem Creations

Let's chat with Mayhem Creations!

We are two mums ~ Kelly and Mariana. With five kids between us and each of us having a daughter, we were inspired to create something for little girls. Mayhem Creations was started in September 2012 and since then we have been developing our brand and style. We love creating new and fun tutus and making little girls smile.

Each tutu skirt or dress is carefully hand-made by us here in Auckland. They are made for the girls to feel like a princess, dancer, party-girl or fairy. Our tutus are all unique, being made with metre upon metre of tulle, sometimes soft, sometimes firmer - to help the flounce.

We strive to keep our prices affordable yet never compromising on quality and care of our products.

*Special Mayhem tutu skirts & dresses can be made for parties, dress-ups, weddings or photo props.

Do pop over and check out Mayhem Creations amazing reviews on their Facebook page! WOW!

Completely LOVE this new trendy clothing for boys!
Say hi to Kristen from LAWSON

I am 22 years old and am the director and designer for LAWSON. From a young age I loved fashion, and looking back I was very creative throughout my childhood, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Design (Fashion). After travelling for a year, I came home to start my girls wear label Ida Rose, which was closely followed by my boys wear label LAWSON.

LAWSON is proudly designed and made right here locally in Mount Maunganui. Specialising in groovy shorts, leggings, vests and tees in fresh prints and comfy styles. Everything is handmade in small runs, with lots of love - providing your boy with exclusive, quality, designer clothing he deserves.

The LAWSON Facebook page was launched at the end of 2013 and has received a great response!

Explorer Shorts

I just knew LAWSON was the right name for my boys wear label. I loved how it looked and the family ties it entails. LAWSON was my Great Grandfather’s name and also is the middle name of my brother who passed away at birth. I wanted to do something in remembrance of him, and this was the perfect creative way of doing so.

Let's Go Shorts

In three words...

Being New Zealand made is a great point of difference and people are really embracing a brand that is home grown. I design, pattern-draft and make all of my products right here in Mount Maunganui. Although LAWSON is New Zealand made I have chosen to keep prices affordable and accessible.

Mustard Chevron Shorts

Current favourite...
Coming into the cooler months my favourite LAWSON style would have to be the Neon Groove Pants. They are a drop crotch style pant made out of a soft stretch in charcoal marle with neon stripes. The Neon Groove Pants are perfect all year round, and in winter over your boy’s merino leggings.

Neon Groove Pants

I start work first thing in the morning and power through until lunchtime where I will take a break and pop out of the house for a bit or catch up with a friend. I then work through until about 9pm at night.

For me, I love being able to be creative at my own pace, and I can take breaks when I need them. It often means that I will work odd hours - but I get through lots of work and the outcome is wonderful.

Discovery Vest

Have people in your life who catch your vision, and never doubt your talent and dreams!

I enjoy spending time with friends over delicious food at some of the great local restaurants the Mount has to offer. It’s so beautiful here – it’s hard not to relax!

Cross Pants

From here...
I have my first Auckland market at the Devonport Art & Craft Markets coming up on 6 April. This is exciting for me and it will be great to meet some of my Auckland customers.

BellyFul Dunedin

Love to introduce you to Bellyful Dunedin!

Bellyful helps mums around New Zealand when they need it most – at dinner-time! The team at Bellyful Dunedin deliver precooked meals to families with new babies without support and families struggling with illness in the Dunedin area.

Thanks to our wonderful local supporters, our service is free. We know how hard those first few months with a newborn can be, and that’s before adding other children and career demands to the mix. A delivered home cooked meal can be a real sanity-saver.

We are not a food bank - our service is appreciated by corporate mums as much as those at home. Nationally, Bellyful has 8 branches and we are a not-for-profit organisation and are all volunteers! As each branch does their own fundraising, we need a lot of local support. We’d love your help with fundraising, lending a hand or even referring a family in need of a meal.

If you can help in anyway it would be awesome!

Heart Angel Memory Boxes

Love to introduce you to Sarah from Heart Angel Memory Boxes

Heart Angel Memory Boxes is my way to 'Pay it Forward' after the loss of our precious Heart Angel Skyla-Ann who passed away after two Open Heart Surgeries in eight days and six weeks on life support in August 2013. I wanted to use my grief constructively and help other families who have lost their heart child as well

Brown Sugar Cookies Co

I want to create a gift that will help in the healing process, a gift that will help families too create an area of remembrance for their Heart Angel. The Memory Boxes are full of items that will help parents to create memories of their baby.

About two months after Skyla-Ann died I heard of another family that were taking their newborn baby girl home to spend her last days surrounded by family and friends… Her heart had so much damage that they couldn’t repair it with surgery.

Necklace from Raspberry Jelly

There is no cure for Congenital Heart Disease and surgery is not always an option or not always successful. With up to 50 children a year losing their battles with CHD. I knew I could help those families who were going through what we had gone through with Skyla-Ann and help keep my precious daughters memory alive in the process.

I would love you to go over and say hi to Sarah on her Heart Angel Memory Boxes Facebook page. Below are some links so you can contact her and read more
